Recording "Antonio Salieri: Piano Concertos"
The recording is completed by a lively performance of the spurious Venetian Symphony, in which the excellent Accademia d’Archi Arrigoni and its young and talented conductor Giulio Arnofi have the opportunity to shine on their own, after having distinguished themselves so well as accompanists in the two Concertos. [...] I send a fraternal embrace to M° Arnofi for making me rediscover the pleasure of listening to music played as it should be - without drugs, without gimmicks, freed from wild allegros or front-wheel-drive adagios, but allowing both to breathe easily without spilling over each other.
A Bari la prima esecuzione assoluta del Concerto per pianoforte di Paolo Rotili
"[...] conductor Arnofi, who has the virtue of clarity of gesture, which is particularly useful in the performance of a complex piece such as Rotili's [Piano Concerto], and an undeniable interpretative brilliance, able to bring out the expressive variety and different characteristics of the individual variations and the captivating finale, but also to take great care of the sound of the orchestra."
